Life goes on
So, we set off into September with the sad news of the passing of our Queen, Elizabeth II. Sad but not unexpected, and it was an emotional time as I’m sure many of you felt the same she’d been with us a long time.

And now we have a King, Charles is stepping up. Long live the King!
September has been Blood Cancer Awareness Month, and I’ve been supporting it.
So, if you have any lumps or bumps get yourself checked to ensure it is all normal as they often are!
As promised I did a thirteen-and-a-half-mile walk around Loch Leven, raising money for Lymphoma Action and making folk aware it was #BloodCancerAwarenessMonth.
The weather was kind to us, and there were six of us plus a four-legged friend to start with, and as folk peeled off, we were four. We chatted and laughed and spoke about Sleeping Giants and Spooky Churches. It was a fantastic day. And if it weren’t for the great company, I would have struggled to complete it. Love you all, and thank you so much for joining me, Julie, Jane, Kim, Jane, Clare, Nannette, and Molly four paws, who turned out to be camera shy.

Don’t worry, that’s the challenge done for this year or not, might see what can be achieved on the bike!
This month is not such a wordy blog, and I hope you like the photos!
Here’s a wee shout-out for Guy’s at Leslie Bike Shop for sorting out my E-bike when she got a puncture, it was a pesky thorn, thought we’d fixed it, but it kept going down. My thanks to the guys it’s not going down anymore! Just need some calmer weather now to get back out!
I also have a new banner and logo, which I love. It is from my friend Mary at MD Creations you can also find her on Facebook. Mary is based in Fife but is not limited to it, as we did everything through video chat and email. It’s amazing how she can turn your ideas into actuals and make them much more!
I never expect the bike to appear, can you see it. Drop me a comment if you do!
So stay tuned to see how October goes. As usual, say hi in the comments box or ask me a question.
Take care and look after yourself!
Carole
